Every other month on Sunday afternoons we provide a worship and teaching ministry at this facility operated by the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections. Several participants in the ministry also meet with some of the young men on a weekly basis by going through the "Fundamentals of the Faith" workbook.
JCC - Lewiston is one of three facilities of it's kind in Idaho. The facility has a 36-bed capacity and provides on-site education, meals, recreation, clinical, and nursing services. The facilities target population are medium to high risk adjudicated male juvenile offenders, ages 13-18 years, that are mainly from Idaho’s 10 northern counties. Many of the juveniles have significant substance abuse issues. But most importantly they need to know the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so that they can get their lives turned in the right direction.
We are currently going through the attributes of God as outlined in Paul Washer's book, "The One True God" during our two hour visits.
Currently the ministry is under the oversite of: Three Oaks Life Transformation Center
