"Holding forth the Word of Life"

Welcome to: First Baptist Church

We welcome you to our church website and pray that it will point you to the Lord Jesus Christ and your growth in knowing Him and His Word for His glory.  Join us in worship and hearing the exposition of His Word each Lord’s Day.  Here at First Baptist Church we pursue these guiding principles:.

Holding Forth the Word of Life

Philippians 2:16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Where God’s Word Builds His People

Acts 20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up…

Continuing to Grow in Grace for His Glory

2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

We concur with "The Council on Biblical Manhood & Womanhood"

To help believers learn what it means to be a witness in this world, Ligonier Ministries is hosting their West Coast Conference, "Overcoming the World: Being a Christian in a Post-Christian Culture." On June 6–7, 2014, Drs. R.C. Sproul, Steven Lawson, Stephen Meyer, Albert Mohler, and R.C. Sproul Jr. will be covering modern challenges to the Christian and how we may effectively witness to the truth in a society that seems determined to overthrow every connection to its Christian heritage.
